Happy New Year to you Laura!
ReplyDeleteWell, I didn't rock in the comment department, but I'll do better in 2010. I'm finding a bit more balance...and posing way less. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
LAURA! Every failure is an incentive to succeed later on. And the rewards taste sweeter knowing the difference:) For the record, I don't see any of your listed failures as failures at all. Life happens.Don't beat yourself up.I hope your 2010 is amazing<3
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you on #1. Here's hoping for more reading time in 2010!
ReplyDeleteI wish you luck with your goals for this year. Have a Happy New Year!
Laura, I can't believe you let other bloggers get to you. Your blog is uniquely your own and perfectly fine just as it is.
ReplyDeleteWhat you see as your 2009'failures' I see as an open mind still wanting to achieve and learn new things.
It's all good, girl!

Sounds great. I like this one the most -> Start off the year reading Before I Fall, Lauren Oliver.
ReplyDeleteHave a great year, laura!
I totally agree on the reading more. I won a book from you it came pretty quick don't be so hard on yourself.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what other bloggers have said but it really doesn't matter this is your blog lots of people like it just fine. Don't let others get to you not worth it. Hell if they say stuff it means they are visiting your blog if it was so bad they wouldn't come here in the first place. Happy New Year.
Laura, can I just say that first and foremost your blog should be what you want. If you try to please everyone, you'll only end up feeling like you should never have started. This is why you don't see any surveys on my blog. I am vain enough to know I started my blog for me and I will post what I want. I want my followers to like my blog because it is what it is. Just be yourself and people will come and read!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year y'all! hope the year has started off pretty smoothly and for those of you who have been a liittttlee unfortunate, don't worry, you got lucky, why? remember the saying "cry now, smile later"?? ya..
ReplyDeleteThat's a good one! "I shall let no one pull me down!" it's got attitude and it's DEFINITELY a resolution worth sticking to, All the best with that!
ReplyDeleteMy new years resolutions are to overcome my fears. I have agoraphobia (shopping malls and people), Panic Disorder and OCD. I feel good so far, its day four and I havent had a panic attack yet. With my OCD i am just ignoring my bad thoughts and thinking positive. It is working and I feel good about myself.
ReplyDeleteI stopped drinking soda 10 days ago and know sodas will kill me if I do not leave them alone. I have been enjoying juice and water sonce xmas eve. Any resolutions you will follow this year and not bump to the back of the list? Star this question if you love rock or heavy metal music... Happy New Year
