  9. I want Catching Fire because need to be cheered up with a great book. Since my knee surgery, I've been able to regain enough strength to walk, but I've still got months until I can start playing soccer again. It'd make me soo happy. And my friends would be jealous!

  16. Why do I need it? Because everyday my breakfast table hosts the Hunger Games. We lie, cheat, steal and kill over the food. And every time I win, I fear the backlash of the Capitol (aka the rest of the family). I need to know what to do next!!!

  20. I should win because I am a sucker for a free book. Aside frugal reasons, I’ve heard cclaim for Collins’ work, yet I haven’t read “Hunger Games” … yet. If I win, I’ll have read “Hunger Games” by the time it arrives in my mailbox.

  21. Great idea!

I should win Catching Fire because I just read The Hunger Games a few weeks ago. I had heard it was good but I didn't think anything of it. I read it and loved it. I was surprised by how much I did like it. I immediately gave a copy to my mother-in-law and I've been telling everyone to read it. I would love to be able to let everyone know that the second book is amazing too!

    Hugs!

  24. Hmm why should I win it? Well aside from the fact that I would probably participate in the Hunger Games to get a copy of this book, it would be a nice reward for working myself to death this year to get good grades (and then not getting financial aid from my school).

  25. I should win Catching Fire because I live in Scotland and it's very hard to get NEW books here. Hunger Games was impossible to find, so I had to get my sister in America to send me a copy last October. I can't imagine Catching Fire will be ANY easier to find. I've had a VERY hard time getting the books I want to read. Hunger Games is my very favorite book of all times, and I have been anxiously awaiting Catching Fire!

  27. Catching Fire is the next book on my wish list now that the book club is about to discuss Hunger Games! I really had a hard time putting down the book when I was getting off the metro, and I was tapped a couple of times by other passengers when I reached the end of the line. Thankfully, that was my destination.

  30. I need Catching Fire because I haven't read The Hunger Games yet and owning Catching Fire would encourage me to read both. :) That is nowhere near 50 words, but it's 4am and my blood sugar is like below sea level, so that's the best I can do. I did post about this on my contest blog in a ginormous post, there were like 60 or more contests there, so... I totally lost my train of thought.

I'm babbling now, so I'm just gonna leave my email address and run away.

  34. A friend of mine and I were having friendly competition over who will read Catching Fire first, but, after her husband was in an accident last week, leaving him with a concussion and severely crushed ulna, I pinky-swear to let her read it first. When I win a copy.

That’s 50 words so I’m seriously hoping my email doesn’t count:
