Blog Every Day in August!
I did it in April and I'm doing it again this month! (well next month... well tomorrow!)
Just so you know, tomorrow ends the contest for Kristin Cashore's "Fire". And I'll also have another contest starting tomorrow as well. Haven't figured out which book to put up, but I'll give it some thought.
I have a bunch of reviews I need to post as well!
I'm currently trying to read Aprilynne Pike's "Wings" but I just cannot get into it. It's not the writing, the writing is very good, I think it's just me! Does that happen to you?

WINGS is my new favorite book...just stick it out...and it gets better. A LOT BETTER! It just takes a bit to get into...I promise you'll enjoy it. Just be patient!
ReplyDeleteI adored Wings. But I know what you mean. It happens to me from time to time. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for a certain book so I put it down and pick up something else.

ReplyDeleteIt took me some time to get into Wings, too :) I also kept having problems staying into it throughout, but by the end I had more positive feelings toward the book. And I pick up books and have problems getting into them all the time...I probably start more than I finish. But later on I pick up the books I gave up on and often find that I suddenly love them. (Of course I changed, not the book.)
